Dear Rules Commission,

I believe we already have too many regulations on corporations. Adding yet another one seems like to much of a burden and, I believe, moves the focus away from what we really need right now – corporations ability to focus on their core purpose.

Corporations are not actually “people”, even though we treat them legally as such. They have no moral or conscience – those who are employed or buy the goods and services are the ones who do.

Instead of adding yet another layer of management to track how green a company is, let us just let the market decide what customers want. Personally, I would really like cheaper gasoline and lower grocery bills. I am pretty sure, asking the industries that provide these services to now track and report everything they do, will not achieve my goals.

Anyone who wants to found a company targeting a very green agenda (aka, Elon Musk) is not helped by such a rule either. Please stick to regulating for Fraud instead of regulating what is “green” or not.

Thank you,
