Dear Chair Gary Gensler,

As an individual investor I end up getting & reading annual reports and annual meeting voting instructions. It is quite common for shareholders to submit proposals asking the Board to report on climate change risks and specific environmental risks. And universally the Board recommends voting against the shareholder proposal. And they usually fail.

Boards of Directors seem to think that if the risks aren't reported then those risks don't exist.

As a shareholder I want to see the climate & environmental risks reported, if only so I know the Board is engaged and aware. Ignorance & delusion are not good characteristics for Board members.

I support proposed Rule S7-10-22: Enhancement and Standardization of Climate-Related Disclosures for Investors to 1) wake up sleeping unaware Board members to do their job, and 2) make it standard for all companies to report these risks so the public can be more I formed of investment risk AND the impact of the company on the world.

Thank you.

Please pass a strong climate disclosure rule as soon as possible.

Sincerely,
Mr. David Dale
