Dear Chair Gary Gensler,
American corporations have benefited from some of the most lax pollution and economic regulations for much too long. we can all see the writing in the smoke clouds above the wildfires. passing a transparency law is at least a step in the right direction. Corporations don't need to pollute to make enormous profits but if you let them they will. pass this rule please. if the people could push it through themselves they would.
Please pass a strong climate disclosure rule as soon as possible.
