As an investor, concerned citizen, and consumer, I fully support the SEC's proposed rule amendments to require climate-related disclosures.

These rule amendments will provide critical information for me as an investor seeking financially sound companies, especially those that seek to minimize their carbon footprint and mitigate climate risks and impacts. The science is undeniable: climate risks are increasing and will have growing impacts on every company's bottom line, affecting every aspect of the business, from supply chains to fuel prices. Furthermore, I believe members of the public have the right to know the direct and indirect impacts of public companies as measured by their greenhouse gas emissions.

The SEC's proposed rule amendments are a crucial step forward and will undoubtedly provide investors with much-needed information for making their investment decisions while ensuring that public companies adapt to mitigate climate risks and minimize their carbon footprint.
