I strongly endorse requiring companies to disclose climate risk exposure. We must seriously reduce fossil fuel emissions, which may require significant changes to company operations. Companies should already be planning how they will do that, but how are investors to know what plans they have or what steps they are taking if any? It seems that companies have their heads in the sand. I have a particular interest in power companies and utilities. I look at their annual reports and there is alarmingly little there about climate action or climate risk. I hope they are not actively delaying.
