Standardization of climate-related disclosures should absolutely happen. It should have happened 20 years ago. While this may be too little too late with both poles experiencing record heat simultaneously now, it's still worth the effort to try and save us from imminent mass extinction.
Enhanced reporting from entities is crucial to our understanding the contributing factors to climate change, particularly in the fossil fuel and agricultural industries as well as those that the supply the biggest contributor to this crisis which is the United States military industrial complex.
