Dear Ms. Mary Jo White, I am Esteban Rodriguez and I am an Orange County local and I have been very active in the tech community here! Equity crowd funding has been the talk of the town since Congress passed the JOBS Act in 2012. However, when it comes to the topic of equity crowd funding among non-accredited investors, there is no clear ground yet. In writing to you, I hope to inspire you and your colleagues to meet and finalize the rules of Title III so that I, and my other investor friends, can pursue equity crowd funding. This would open up opportunity for me to fund some of the companies that I am interested in currently, some of these include music and entertainment startups that are disrupting the status quo. I want to be part of the early adopters that help fund the leaders of tomorrow. Please vote to finalize Title III because our community in the OC would benefit from the opportunity to expand sources for raising capital! Together, we can achieve greatness!
