I am writing to you in support of the new regulations under title III. I am the general partner of a registered investment advisor and broker-dealer. For the past 30 years I have been involved in investing in small and midsize companies throughout the United States. Our firm has put more than $2.5 billion to work and created more than 10,000 jobs.
I have recently learned about title III and I believe that it would be a wonderful addition to the mechanism for capital formation in the United States. We might will get involved in order to fund smaller early-stage companies, but I am very supportive of the concept and believe that it could be a huge catalyst for job creation in the US.
