The SEC screwed up allowing their agents to be charmed and overwhelmed by someone appearing smarter than they. Unbelievabe. Meanwhile I am BURDENED with excessive regulations that discourages me from even being in the industry. Now you want me, a sole practitioner feeding a family and running a non to small profitable business to pay $8,100 for yet ANOTHER audit. Who's in touch with reality here? SALARIED SEC agents? Stop punishing the good guys and gals ethically making a gigantic difference in people's lives. Stop the Madoff's of the world by doing your job, NOT by punishing the advisors doing a stellar job
