I support this proposal.

Truthfully, I can't even fathom how this isn't already in place.

Essentially every warehouse throughout the country has all their reporting processes automated and paperless. Honestly, most activities in general are paperless and instantly tracked and recorded. Entry to the facility, entry to specific doors and turnstiles, access to workstations / equipment / computers / terminals, access to vehicles, products that are picked, the boxes used to pack them, the employee doing the packing, the shipping label used, the printer the label came out of, the truck loaded, etc. Literally every step of the entire process of performing the job and every movement and action of the employees involved is all instantly tracked, recorded, and available to see and monitor for the line leads, managers, customers, executives, etc.

How is it possible that warehouse staffed by poorly educated manual laborers being paid barely a livable wage (if even) and using cheap and poorly maintained equipment that take a lot of abuse in cold / hot and damp / dusty environments are able to perform this top notch nearly instant tracking and reporting while the most wealthy and profitable financial institutions with access to the highest paid and, supposedly, highest educated individuals our country has to offer all with direct access to custom technology of the highest possible grade impeccably maintained by elite teams of dedicated tech support and able to perform trillions of nanosecond algorithmic transactions that dictate the flow of our economy... can't manage to figure out basic automation and data tracking / reporting?

It is literally absurd to even try to imagine it. Truly, it is insulting for them to even suggest that it isn't possible for them.

Maybe they should fire their overpaid staff and bring in a bunch of low paid poorly educated temp workers. They'd have it up and running in a week. They'd have to... or they'd actually face consequences and punishment by losing their job.
