 The 2 years following the story of what SEC calls \"meme stocks\" have been by far one of the most debilitating on my ability to have faith in the system. It has been quite demoralizing to say the least.

How is any of borrowing, short selling, failing to deliver a stock so loosely regulated?

How does any of this happen in no other country than the United States of America that should be setting examples as a 'superpower'?

How can we as a society be so shortsighted that we're allowing this level of corruption to be broadcasted worldwide, for the entire future generation to see?
