October 31, 2022 I would like to see daily reporting of short selling activity. I think this is absolutely crucial information that needs to be publicly available for all American citizens. There has been rampant short selling of securities far beyond the number of shares that exist many publicly traded companies. This introduces an immense amount of risk in our financial markets. Publicizing data of short selling will deter predatory short selling by hedge funds and other financial institutions. It will lead to a transparent and stable economy and create a resilient economy.
