Before buying GameStop in early 2021 I did not know what a short position was. Since then I have watched as Institutional managers hide the true short positions and short activity by limited reporting. There should be a robust reporting of the short positions The system should be transparent for retail. Institutions have an advantage due to the current opaque system. Naked shorting and rolling over FTDs have flooded the market with millions (maybe Billions) of GameStop shares. They use cellar boxing, spoofing, and high frequency trades to suppress stock prices in their favor. I disagree with Hester. There should be MORE transparency in short position reporting. Thank You.
