I don't know much, but I know that the very concept of Shorting a company is a detriment to our fair and open market. Given what the mass shorting of a given stock can do to its stakeholders and shareholders, I'm at a loss as to why this data is not readily accessible and transparent to the market.
Reporting for this type of trade activity should be completely transparent to those that monitor the system by which we live. Gary himself mentioned publicly that the public can see that the system is clearly not working as it should be. Let's throw back the shutters and get eyes where they need to be.
