I am opposed to this regulation. As a small investor I put a great emphasis on institutional investment flows as reliable guidance on the equity markets. Increasing the threshold for reporting requirements will further obfuscate financial markets, not help to add clarity. More disclosure and accountability is needed in the financial world, not less.
