Decreasing the number of hedge funds that have to disclose their holdings from 5,283 to 549--nearly 90 percent--will decrease transparency and disproportionately negatively affect small investors.

Retail investors will be even more disadvantaged than they already are if the purchases and sales of large institutional investors are not required to be disclosed. Please do not rescind the responsibility of hedge funds to report on their transactions and holdings.
