I am an individual investor, and form 13F is crucial in helping me learn about investments and source investment ideas from investment firms of all sizes. I think it would be an extreme detriment to the American people if the AUM threshold were reduced, resulting in a reduction in the number of filers. I don't know what lobbying group is proposing this change, but it further separates those with large sums of capital from those of who are just trying to put some money to work, so that we can afford to live in the future.
