Speaking as an investor, I propose expanding the accredited investor definition. I currently qualify as a sophisticated investor, so there are investments I am ineligible for, even though I have enough knowledge not to risk what I can't afford to lose. Perhaps the income/net worth requirements could be lowered. Another option I propose is to allow investment from individuals who don't meet the current definition, but place limits on the amount they are allowed to invest per year. Perhaps this could be a flat amount or percentage of annual income. This would help protect investors from investing more money than they can afford.

Thank you,
