In response to the SEC’s proposed rule as it pertains to shifting the default delivery method of critical shareholder reports, from paper to electronic delivery, I believe it to be completely wrong to have this information submitted electronically. For example, where I live, I do not have reliable internet. I do not have access to cable internet, Satellite internet is too costly and limited, cell phone service is almost non-existent, so I have to rely on ADSL thru the phone line. My ADSL cuts out nearly every time it rains.
Paper is a superior distribution method for important information. In a recent national survey, 88 percent of respondents said that they understand and can retain or use information better when they read print on paper, and when given a choice, 81 percent of respondents prefer to read print on paper.
Thank you for your time and attention.
Sincerely,
Brian
