The proposal to remove the option of having full reports transmitted to investors by mail deserves, in my judgement, to be discarded. Some investors, as a result of lack of equipment or ineptitude, will be uninformed in consequence. Others will not be able to create a paper trail for tax, estate planning, or other purposes. Regulation should increase the availability of relevant information to investors, which the proposed change would reduce instead. Please leave the present system in place, or at least require that investors be permitted to demand regular delivery of paper reports.
