Requiring electronic transmission of important financial information is a very bad idea. I like to receive these types of things by mail so I can sit and read them, file them, and use them for reference later. My relatives, who are older, do not use electronic devices and would thus be deprived of the right to get their statements and information. It would be burdensome for them to have to call their financial people to get the information. This may be the "electronic age," but it is not the final answer, and it is not always secure either. To deprive us of the right to get our information on paper is short-sighted and ill-conceived. My financial future is too important to be let to the vagaries of the computing "cloud."
