-I respectfully oppose rule 33-9976 making electronic delivery of important information on mutual funds the default delivery method. While I have access to a computer and the internet, I still prefer my financial communications by mail. I always keep my investment documents in a binder to track the progress of each one. I also suspect the cost of these mailings is already included in the fees that the funds charge. I doubt I would see a reduction in the fees I pay to manage these funds if they are allowed to send in digital format.

Also, I just returned from a trip to Washington state, Idaho and Montana. It occurred to me that there are a lot of people in the country that probably do not have reliable access to the internet. It would put a hardship on those individuals who without knowing would have their records delivery methods changed. I would think that would cause much concern when the statement individuals expect and depend on to manage their investment accounts does not arrive in the mail as expected because of the proposed change to electronic delivery.
