Good afternoon –
This is in response to the proposed new regulation (new Rule 30e-3).

Receiving printed information from my stock investments, retirement funds, mutual funds, etc. is my preferred method of receiving information.  In a recent national survey 88% of respondents said that they understand and can retain or use information better when they read print on paper, and when given a choice 81% prefer to read print on paper.

This proposed new ruling impacts the entire paper industry as it will drive down paper demand and it will negatively impact the production of envelope paper.  If investment materials are no longer printed on paper, then there will no longer be a need for the envelopes used to mail them.

I ask that the agency reject taking the option away for us to choose paper as our preferred method of receiving our shareholder reports.

Thank you.
