I do not support the SEC's wish to eliminate paper communications with investors and switch to online as the default.
I am a 'regular person' with a rollover IRA account. I will acknowledge that I do not actually read all of the information that is mailed to me about my investments HOWEVER I do take note of what I receive and make a choice as to how much I will read. If this information were only available online I know I would never logon, search and read the information. Even if I received an email with a link, I wouldn't connect.
Paper communications can be saved AND found much more readily than any online format.
Please do not pass this rule. Thanks you, Joanne Rock (a Regular Jo)
