I noticed in the rule you mentioned about going to
a 5 cent spread or increment. It would be a great thing
if you were to reinstate the uptick rule and change the
increments to nickels or go back to 6.25 cents or 1/16ths.
I know you changed the rule overnight on the short selling. You can change this quickly to if you wanted to.
To increase the spread back to at least nickels and reinstate the uptick rule, would decrease the chances of people pounding stocks down.
It is a market and people should be allowed to short, just go back to the way things were and everything should work out out ok.
