I am a private , individual investor asking that the sec level the playing field by reinstating the uptick rule. It was placed in effect to protect investors from the abuses that the US saw before the Great Crash. Even Ben Bernake stated before Congress that the uptick rule could have helped keep the markets from taking nose dives. Please reinstate the uptick rule permanently Thanks
