Stock markets should be a place where investors can prosper with fair trading practices and speculators trade at their own risk, I am against shorting, the up-tick rule never should have been abolished. Intentionally drilling down share prices of a good company should not be tolerated in a fair market system and naked shorting without borrowing the stock and delivering it should also be totally banned.
Just look at the past ten years of stock markets, investor took loss from 401k, while those Wall street fat cats took our 401k money away from us using illegal dirty tricks like spreading rumor shorting stocks to gobble up investor's hard-earned money. There is no justice, no hope in this country and Wall Street fat cat still rule the USA.
