Dear Sirs and Madams:
Where is the uptick rule?
The hedge fund community just piled on and took the market down 5% in three days. The Vix jumped 27% today.
If the stock market goes down big, consumer confidence will plummet. Wealth will evaporate and the economy will suffer.
Please reinstate the uptick rule.
