It is quite refreshing to see SEC propose, implement and enforce more common-sense driven policies including this one on short-selling uptick rule in light of the basic premise that such a trade violates the purpose of investing in a company share for the growth of the company.

It would take a handful of such rules including the one on preventing flash-trades, to bring meaning to the market that is fair across board from the individual investors to institutional investors.

Keep up the good work in curtailing some of these irrational practices that have no interest in the health of the involved companies.
