If we have another unforeseen crisis/disaster this fall and winter and we don't have the up tick rule in place, we will be in for another free fall of our stock market...the market would not have fallen as far as it did last year if we hadn't suspended the uptick rule in 2007....please use common sense, put aside greed and make protecting our country's financial health, which is based largely on the value of our stocks, a #1 priority....and do it quickly....it's already september.
