I support the reinstatement of the uptick rule in the form of a plus tick rule over other alternatives such as a "best bid" or "circuit breaker" test. The uptick rule served the markets well for over 70 years and should be brought back.
I also favor strict enforcement of rules against naked short selling.
The market needs clear and transparent rules which are fairly and uniformly enforced with minimal exceptions.
