Please reinstate the plus tick uptick rule. I have watched over the past 9 months as the value of my investments have been destroyed by the disappearnce of this rule. The abscence of the uptick rule puts every long investor at a disadvantage and threatens the entire market, and every investors retirement as well as the businesses themselves who are sold short. Short sellers are able to raid companies and essentially pressue them into bankruptcy or put them on the brink. Countless examples of this already exist. Please consider why the rule was instated in the first place and where the market can return should it not be reinstated
