Please, protect the small investor, re-establish the uptick rule The crash we saw late last year was exasperated by visious short selling attacts on companies which today have stock prices which have risen in some instances 300%.
Those companies were not as bad as the stock prices reflected, but were attacked for shear greed by the short sellers, while the un-knowing 401k owners life savings were crushed I'm lucky, I have been able to recover some of my massive(57%)losses by investing in these financials as they recover to more realistic valuations. I'm ONLY down 37%, (lucky me, my wife and 2 kids and thier college fund):(. However, there are millions of Americans who are so gun shy now, they have missed the oppertunity of a lifetime to gain back their losses in a short period of time.
Please reinstate this rule, and prosecute the criminals to fullest extent of the law who pulled all the ponsie schemes on hard working American families
