I see the uptick rule as an essential ingredient to provide a fair and orderly stock trading market.

The original creation of the rule was a "lesson learned" from the great depression.

Sad that we have to "relearn."

Dynamic market conditions show that smart short sellers literally trash good companies without restraint.

Absent uptick rules destroy preservation of the interests of long-term investors.

My interest is in growing capital and investing in good companies.

A volatile market without control cause frenzied capital value destruction by super short sellers like a run on a bank. We have seen this over and over during the past year.

Please, please restore the uptick rule with dispatch.
