Please restore the uptick rule. Its absence endangers capitalism, and perhaps even democracy. There are enough educated people realizing that removing the rule was orchestrated by a relatively small group of wealthy people exerting improper influence to achieve an unjust and dangerous result. The college and retirement accounts of "regular" people have been robbed to buy, what?, more mansions and yachts for a small wealthy elite. The motivations become suspect of anyone who continues to perpetuate this unfair situation.
Restore the uptick rule.
