-the devastation of the financial markets was influenced by the lack of the uptick rule. this coupled with naked short selling (a law violation)damaged the equities beyond the typical price ranges.
the swooning of prices caused people to abandon caution selling became rampant.
various other etf's became tools that caused price swings beyond what would have been possible, had the uptick rule been in place.
please reinstate this rule to help stabilize the market.
please do not be influenced by big brokerages making large amounts of money, which also supported NOT reinstating the uptick rule.
