I strongly believe the SEC should restore the uptick rule when it comes to short selling. It is obviouse the average american has suffered significant loss's and not benifited from the change. The possibility that a few well positioned individuals and groups have unfairly taken advantage of the rule change and benifited at the expenss of the average investor. This should be investigated fully and if found true, hold those individuals accountable.
