Gentlemen, Please consider eliminating naked short selling and reinstating the uptick rule. The shorts have ruined many small companies and inhibit the development of new technology. A company should be allowed to fail on it's own and not because of illegal short selling. There is nothing wrong with the old style shorting requiring an uptick and borrowing the stock first.
