Subject: enforcement

July 16, 2008

Although my confidence in President Bush and his Administration to serve its citizens and the country at large in any sort of competent and adequate manner is zero, I implore your agency to enforce rules on short selling that require a short seller to enter into an binding agreement to borrow the shares, and also to reinstate the uptick rule. I feel like our financial system is effectively running amok, as it seems have many aspects of our federal government, thanks in my estimation to the gross negligence, incompetence, and mismanagement of this appalling and ridiculous Administration.

Please, I ask plaintively, do your agency’s part in restoring at least some faith and confidence in our federal government to look out for its citizens’ interests.

Thank you for your time and consideration.
