I think the "naked shorts"selling has cost me tens of thousands of dollars, which is a huge blow to my retirement. I feel retail investors need more protection from these short selling schemes, because otherwise strong companies get unfairly mauled. Some return to the uptick rule would also be in order.
Please do not hesitate to extend these protections to the whole market-- not simply the financials.
