Well, I've been reading these comments over the past couple of months.
Reading comments on this rule proposal is like peeling back a piece of drywall in a house you live in and discovering deep toxic noxious dripping black greasy mold in the infrastructure... but you have no where else to live.
It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that the end result of all this will be nothing.
I believe at the end of the day the dysfunction of the SEC, DTCC and regulatory bodies that govern "fair" trade in this once-great economy will just be too ugly and hideous to be fixed.
Will you vote to disband yourselves, have a grand independent inquiry and start from the ground up again?
Will it make sense to just pass the rule as is although it still does nothing to deter those who defraud us freely under your protection?
How deeply disappointing. I sense a cultural depression coming on.
What will you really do to make things right?
