I am a Canadian investor that has invested in American companies on many occasions. Over the last 5 years I have watched as the SEC allowed NSS to to occur. Investors and many companies have been harmed by your inactivity. Four years ago people within your organization said that NSS did not occur, 2 years ago those same people said that NSS occurs but is not a concern, now many agree that NSS is a problem that is hurting the American economy.
Shares in the trillions are being counterfieted and the profits from these transactions are being transfered into the hands of foriegn organizations that do not have the best interest of the North America economy in mind.
I am a shareholder in CMKX a small diamond mining company.I will not go into the details of CMKX as I'm sure you have a file on this company. I have been told that there is a 2+ trillion share FTD position in CMKX.
To my understanding it is the law in the USA that all shares must be delivered in 3 days. If this is true why has your organization continued to allow this to occur. You must prosecute any organization or individual involved in counterfieting American securities.Any investors harmed by this illegal activity must be compensated according to the laws that already exist. The DTCC is responsible for settling all securities transactions. Since the Federal Reserve controls the the DTCC they are responsible for compensating individuals for harm inflicted by NSS'ing. My concern is that the US Government and the SEC does not have the power to to protect the American people against the influences of the Federal Reserve and the offshore financial organizations.
