I support any proposal that will protect consumers/investors from brokers who present themselves as advisors. I support any proposal that will have clear standards of professional behavior and strong consequences for financial services brokers and/or advisors who put their own or their company's financial interests above the best interests of the consumer, and/or who obsfuscate and misrepresent the services being offered.
I also support the promulgation of any such protective standards and consequences in language accessible to the average literate consumer of financial/investment services.
