Dear SEC:
I support the request by the Consumer Federation of America and other groups to delay the comment deadline for the “Best Interests” proposal until 90 days after the Commission makes public the tests results for the proposed Form CRS disclosures. (See May 21 letter to Chairman Clayton, https://consumerfed.org/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/groups-ask-SEC-to-delay-comment-deadline-for-best-interest-proposal.pdf). This nominal delay will give commenters further information on which to react, and likely result in better rulemaking.
