He relies on his financial advisor to make recommendations that will help my brother, not the advisor. Others who receive fixed incomes such as Social Security need their investments to help them pay their bills. I urge you to close the loophole that allows financial advisors to steer their clients to things that aren't necessarily in the clients' best interests. I'm counting on you to make a stronger rule that closes the loophole. Americans who've worked hard to save for retirement deserve peace of mind about their financial security.
