I believe this disclosure is very necessary. The SEC is making a good decision to help investors understand the compensation structure of the companies they're investing in. This will improve transparency, increase dialogue amoungst investors and the institutions, and help put a spotlight on whether or not a company is acting in a fair and prudent manner.
