I strongly support the proposed rule. The inequitable distribution of wealth in the corporate world mirrors that of society at large. Here, at least, we can attempt do something about it. It's clear that well-paid corporate directors have no incentive to address the issue. Pay for top executives is nothing short of obscene. Perhaps only two persons in recent memory have deserved their wealth - Bill Gates and Steve Jobs. At the very least we can make shareholders more aware of the huge transfer of wealth that is occurring.
