Elimintaing the prohibition against general solicitation as it applies to accredited investors is a horrible idea. Accredited investors are not generally more sophisticated or knowledgable. Lifting regulation on these types of investments will open the door to misrepresentation and further fraud. Were Madoff's investors so knowledgable and sophisticated as to not need protection? Do not pass this.
