This is a horrible erosion of shareholder rights next are we going to assign dividend rights to unexercised options?
The fundamental ownership of a stock for voting and other purposes of ownership must remain with the owner or the incentive to close and execute goes away.
Whoever proposed this has motives that are not for a more fair market, but a more manipulated one.
