They should have to report it the same day, what benefit is there to anyone besides the person buying the security to not report it immediately? You really think theyre not going to tell anyone about it because theyre afraid of insider trading? They dont give a what they do. Doesnt add up to me. It sure as hell doesnt help me as a retail investor. If you can afford to buy millions of dollars worth of stock you can afford to report it right away.
